Medical Laboratory Research is a branch of medical science which deals with diagnosis, treatment and management of patients by using Flow-cytometry, microscopes, specialized staining techniques, chemical analyses and highly sophisticated precision instruments. In addition to performing the many types of crucial laboratory tests, clinical laboratory science helps to analyze results, and manage information for efficient treatment of the patients. This field of science requires, understanding the core concepts to analyze body tissues and fluids using complex instrumentation, sophisticated techniques and specialized knowledge for diagnosis, treatment of clinical patients.


International Journal of Medical Laboratory  Research (IJMLR) is an international peer reviewed journal devoted towards laboratory research and practices. All the articles published under IJMLR, include high quality papers, which cover all the major field of medical laboratory research. IJMLR keeps updating day-to-day research & development to the scientific niche around the world. Dear fellow Pathologists and Post Graduates,

Flow cytometry is a technique used to detect and measure physical and
chemical characteristics of a population of cells or particles.
Quantifiable measurements of cellular attributes, such as cell size,
granularity, DNA/RNA content, CD markers expression, surface and
intracellular receptors, and gene expression, are made using the principle
of fluorescence, or excited light energy. Peripheral blood, bone marrow
aspirate, and cerebrospinal fluid are all specimens that can be analyzed
using flow cytometry. This technique is finding increasing use in routine
clinical laboratories for the diagnosis, prognosis and monitoring of
disease. Some of the applications in widespread use are immunophenotyping
of leukemia, lymphomas, Plasma cell disorders and Minimal residual disease.
Some of the non haematological applications include diagnosis of PNH,
CD4/CD8 counts, T cell/B cell cross match, DNA/RNA analysis and HLA-B27.

There are some expenses to be paid to provide for technology inputs . The
registration fees for this has been kept as Rs 3500 plus 18% GST ie 4130
till 15 March 2020 and Rs 4500 plus 18% GST ie5310 after that .

The course will start on 15th April 2021a Pre Reading materials will be
sent on 2nd April 2022.
