About This Journal
Medical Laboratory Research is a branch of medical science which deals with diagnosis, treatment and management of patients by using Flow-cytometry, microscopes, specialized staining techniques, chemical analyses and highly sophisticated precision instruments. In addition to performing the many types of crucial laboratory tests, clinical laboratory science helps to analyze results, and manage information for efficient treatment of the patients. This field of science requires, understanding the core concepts to analyze body tissues and fluids using complex instrumentation, sophisticated techniques and specialized knowledge for diagnosis, treatment of clinical patients.
International Journal of Medical Laboratory Research (IJMLR) is an international peer reviewed journal devoted towards laboratory research and practices. All the articles published under IJMLR, include high quality papers, which cover all the major field of medical laboratory research. IJMLR keeps updating day-to-day research & development to the scientific niche around the world. The journal publishes original articles, commentary, editorials, letters to the editor, review articles and case report describing original research in the fields of clinical & medical laboratory medicine.
As IJMLR is an international Open Access journal, all the articles published under this journal will be accessible to all internet users throughout the world without any barrier of access. International Journal of Medical Laboratory Research (IJMLR) covers publication of novel concepts, new methods, new regimens, new technologies, alternative approaches and promises to provide most authentic and complete source of information on current development in the field of medicine.

The 2021 Clinical Hepatopathology Certificate Program(CHC)
Pathologists and hepatologist seeking training in the principles and practice of hepatopathology from all around the world are encouraged to apply. However, applicants from India, as well as low- and middle-income countries in all parts of the world, are given priority.
1)Identify the key principles in the liver biopsy processing for LM and special stains. Review the different histopathologic techniques and their purpose.
2) Recognize different patterns of liver injury observed on a liver biopsy, with respect to clinical presentation and impact on clinical management.
3) Use newly gained knowledge of specific liver syndromes or diseases (e.g., acute liver injury, autoimmune disease, cholestatic disease, metabolic disease, steatotic disease, transplant hepatology) to infer pathophysiologic mechanisms and apply this to the management of patients..
5)Use updated knowledge of liver pathology for better patient management.
The CHC program includes over 50 recorded online lectures (3-4/ month) and 12 live webinars (one each month) made available over a one-year period. The course attendees are required to attend >80% of the live webinars and obtain a“pass” (a score of 70%) in a mid-year and a final exam in order to receive the certificate.
Tentative Program dates:
February 1, 2021 to January 15, 2022
