1. Article Processing Charge

For eligible overseas authors, IJMLR charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of:

USD 35 per accepted article.

The APC is charged for editorial and publication processing associated with an accepted manuscript.

2. Payment Timing

The APC is payable after acceptance of the manuscript unless otherwise specified by IJMLR.

Authors should not make an APC payment before receiving payment instructions or an invoice from IJMLR.

3. Manuscript Rejection

If a manuscript is rejected before acceptance, no APC is payable.

If an author has accidentally paid an APC for a manuscript that has not been accepted, the author should contact IJMLR with the payment details. The matter will be reviewed and, where appropriate, the payment may be refunded.

4. Author Cancellation or Withdrawal

If an author requests withdrawal of a manuscript after acceptance and before publication, the refund request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Where substantial editorial, peer-review, production, or publication work has already been completed, the APC may be non-refundable.

Authors should contact IJMLR as soon as possible if they wish to withdraw a manuscript.

5. Publication Completed

Once an article has been published online, the APC is generally non-refundable.

However, IJMLR may review exceptional cases where publication cannot be maintained because of an error or circumstance attributable to IJMLR.

6. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments

If an author accidentally makes a duplicate payment for the same article, the author should contact IJMLR with the relevant transaction details.

After verification, an eligible duplicate payment may be refunded.

7. Payment Processing Charges

Where a refund is approved, payment-provider or banking charges that cannot be recovered may be deducted from the refundable amount, where applicable.

The final refund amount may therefore differ from the original amount charged.

8. Refund Request

To request a refund, authors should provide:

• Author name

• Manuscript/article ID

• Email address used for submission

• Payment date

• Amount paid

• Payment/transaction reference

• Reason for the refund request

Refund requests should be submitted through the official IJMLR contact channel.

9. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will normally be processed through the original payment method used for the transaction.

The time required for the refund to appear in the author's account may depend on the payment provider or bank.

10. Fraudulent or Misleading Transactions

No refund will be provided for transactions associated with fraudulent activity, false information, misuse of the payment system, plagiarism, academic misconduct, copyright infringement, or violation of IJMLR policies, subject to applicable law.

11. Changes to This Policy

IJMLR may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy when necessary. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
