1. About IJMLR

The International Journal of Medical Laboratory Research (IJMLR) is an online academic journal that publishes scholarly research articles following an editorial and peer-review process.

By submitting a manuscript, accessing our website, or using any IJMLR service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Manuscript Submission

Authors are responsible for ensuring that manuscripts submitted to IJMLR are original, accurate, and suitable for academic publication.

By submitting a manuscript, the author confirms that:

  • The manuscript is original and has not been published elsewhere.

  • The manuscript is not simultaneously under consideration by another journal.

  • All listed authors have approved the submitted manuscript.

  • The author has obtained any necessary permissions for third-party material.

  • The manuscript complies with IJMLR's author guidelines and publication ethics requirements.

IJMLR reserves the right to reject manuscripts that do not meet its editorial, ethical, technical, or academic requirements.

3. Peer Review and Editorial Decision

Manuscripts may be subject to editorial screening and peer review.

Acceptance of a manuscript is determined by the journal's editorial process. Payment of an Article Processing Charge does not guarantee acceptance or publication of a manuscript.

IJMLR reserves the right to make editorial decisions regarding acceptance, revision, rejection, correction, or withdrawal of articles in accordance with its editorial and publication policies.

4. Article Processing Charge (APC)

For eligible overseas authors, the Article Processing Charge is:

USD 35 per accepted article.

The APC is payable after the manuscript has been accepted for publication, unless otherwise communicated by IJMLR.

The APC is a fee for editorial and publication processing and the electronic publication of the accepted article.

Authors should not make an APC payment before receiving the appropriate payment instructions or invoice from IJMLR.

5. Payment

International payments may be processed through authorized payment service providers.

The author is responsible for providing accurate payment and billing information.

Any applicable payment-processing, currency-conversion, bank, or intermediary charges may be deducted from or added to the transaction depending on the payment method used.

IJMLR does not request or encourage authors to make payments to personal bank accounts.

6. Refunds

Refunds are governed by IJMLR's Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Payment of an APC does not guarantee acceptance of a manuscript. Where an APC has been paid after acceptance and the article subsequently cannot be published because of a decision or circumstance attributable to IJMLR, the journal may review the matter and determine whether a refund is appropriate.

No refund will normally be provided where publication has already been completed or where the inability to publish results from author misconduct, inaccurate information, copyright infringement, plagiarism, or violation of journal policies.

Duplicate or erroneous payments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

7. Publication and Access

Published articles may be made available online in accordance with IJMLR's open-access and licensing policies.

IJMLR may make reasonable corrections to published articles where necessary to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record.

8. Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain or transfer copyright and grant publication rights according to the copyright and licensing terms applicable to the journal.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights and permissions for all material included in their manuscripts.

9. Publication Ethics

IJMLR expects authors, reviewers, and editors to follow accepted standards of academic and publication ethics.

IJMLR may investigate allegations of plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabrication, falsification, authorship disputes, conflicts of interest, or other forms of academic misconduct.

Where appropriate, IJMLR may reject, retract, correct, or remove an article in accordance with its publication-ethics procedures.

  • Use the website for unlawful purposes.
